Hello Jane,
I've just read with interest, the article in the Evening Telegraph about
Ardith and Peter Tureski's visit to Cottingham. I have been tracing my
Husband Malcolm's ancestors, and have quite a list of the Tilleys at
Cottingham.
Malcolm's Great Grandmother was Martha Louise Tilley b.1865 whose parents
were John James Tilley b. 1831 Cottingham and Martha Hector of Stanion.
James Tilley's Father John was cousin to William Tilley b.1817 who married
Ann Wingell of Barton Seagrave. Is this the William and Ann that you
mention?

would be very pleased to share my information with Ardith and Peter, if
they would like to get in touch with me. I went to Northampton Record
Office and looked up all the Census Records, Baptisms, Marriages and
Burials for Cottingham to enable me to build up the Tilley tree.
