It is possible that my Cannam ancestors
emigrated from Cottingham or parts nearby to the US or Canada around 1800.
I am teased by the references to Cannam families in your letters page. Is
there a local genealogical society or other resource who might have access
to records of local families? I would like to correspond with anyone
researching Cannam ancestors prior to about 1830.
I do enjoy your excellent website.
